Deputy Chief Ministers Of Bangsamoro
The deputy chief ministers of Bangsamoro are the second-highest executive officials of Bangsamoro, an autonomous region within the Philippines, just next to the chief minister. Background Function The Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), mandates the appointment of two deputy chief ministers who are tasked to assist the chief minister of Bangsamoro. The chief minister nominates the deputies, with the Bangsamoro Parliament electing to confirm or deny nominations. Deputy chief ministers are permitted to hold a cabinet position. In the case of death, permanent incapacity, or resignation of the chief minister of Bangsamoro, the deputy chief minister, more senior in age will act as the chief minister until the parliament elect a new chief minister, within 30 days from vacancy as mandated by law. Ali Solaiman
Ali Bangcola Solaiman is a Moro revolutionary and politician. He is a member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Interim Bangsamoro Parliament. He is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Bangsamoro for the Mainland. He serves as the Moro Islamic Liberation Front's 2nd Vice Chairman and is also a member of the group's central committee. When the Bangsamoro region was formed in 2019, Solaiman became part of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority. Solaiman was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bangsamoro for the Mainland by interim Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim. Albakil Jikiri
Albakil "Thong" Dasani Jikiri is a Moro Filipino who is a member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament and the Deputy Chief Minister of Bangsamoro for the Islands. Early life and education Albakil Jikiri was born in December 12, 1980 in Indanan, Sulu to Yusop Jikiri and Dayang Dayang Harija Dasani. He used the Dasani as his last name for security reason during his elementary school years in Bakud Elementary School in Jolo due to his father's association with the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). After the 1996 Final Peace Agreement was signed between the Philippine government and the MNLF, he began using his paternal family name. Abdul Sahrin
Abdul Raji Sahrin, also known as Hassan Jawali (1950/1951 – January 20, 2021), was a Moro revolutionary and politician. He was a member of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Interim Bangsamoro Parliament. He was also the Deputy Chief Minister of Bangsamoro for the Islands. Bangsamoro Organic Law
The Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL; fil, Batayang Batas para sa Rehiyong Awtonomo ng Bangsamoro), also known as the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), and officially designated as Republic Act No. 11054, is a Philippine law that provided for the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Legislative efforts for the establishment of a Bangsamoro autonomous region was first proposed and deliberated upon by the 16th Congress of the Philippines but failed to pass into law. The issue was taken up once again in the 17th Congress. The legislation was ratified by both the Senate and the House of Representatives on July 23 and 24, 2018 respectively.
