Department Of Transportation (New Brunswick)
The Ministry (government department), Department of Transportation is a part of the Government of New Brunswick. It is charged with the maintenance of the provincial highway network and the management of the province's automobile fleet. The department was established in 1967 when Premier of New Brunswick, Premier Louis Robichaud split the Department of Public Works and Highways (New Brunswick), Department of Public Works and Highways. In 2012, it returned to these roots when it was merged with most of the Department of Supply and Services (New Brunswick), Department of Supply and Services to form a new Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (New Brunswick), Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. Ray Frenette
Joseph Raymond Frenette (April 16, 1935 – July 13, 2018) was a Canadian politician in New Brunswick. He was a Liberal Party of New Brunswick, Liberal representative for the riding of Moncton East in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1974 New Brunswick general election, 1974 until 1998 when he retired after a short term as the 28th premier of New Brunswick. David Nathan Alward (born December 2, 1959) is a Canadian politician, who served as the 32nd premier of New Brunswick, 2010 to 2014. Alward has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick since 1999 and has been the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick.
