Dennis Cholowski
Dennis Cholowski (born February 15, 1998) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). Cholowski was drafted 20th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, and has also briefly played for the Washington Capitals. Playing career Junior During the 2015–16 BCHL season, 2015–16 season, Cholowski recorded 12 goals and 28 assists in 50 games for the Chilliwack Chiefs. He led the Chiefs' defencemen in scoring, and finished fifth among British Columbia Hockey League, BCHL defencemen with 40 points. Western Hockey League
The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a major junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. The WHL is one of three leagues that constitutes the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) as the highest level of junior hockey in Canada. The Charlotte Checkers are a minor-league professional ice hockey team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Joonas Korpisalo (; born 28 April 1994) is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
