FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. Dynamo was the only club that had always played in the top tier of Soviet football (along with Dynamo Kyiv) and of Russian football from the end of the Soviet era until they were relegated in 2016. Despite this, they have never won the modern Russian Premier League title and have won Russian Cup only once, in the season of 1994–95. 2022–23 Russian Second League
The 2022–23 Russian Second League is the 31st season of Russia's third-tier football league since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The season began on 15 July 2022. On 23 June 2022, the league was renamed from Russian Football National League 2 to Russian Second League. The Russian Second League is geographically divided into 4 groups. The winners of each zone are automatically promoted into the First League. The bottom finishers of each zone lose professional status and are relegated into the Amateur Football League. The 2022–23 Russian Premier League (known as the Mir Russian Premier League, also written as Mir Russian Premier Liga for sponsorship reasons) is the 31st season of the premier football competition in Russia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the 19th under the current Russian Premier League name. Teams As in the previous season, 16 teams played in the 2022–23 season. After the 2021–22 season, Arsenal Tula, Rubin Kazan and Ufa were all relegated to the 2022–23 Russian Football National League. The Russian Premier League (RPL; russian: Российская премьер-лига; РПЛ), also written as Russian Premier Liga, is the top division professional association football league in Russia.
