Den Stundesløse
''The Fidget'' ( da, Den stundesløse) is a satirical play published by Ludvig Holberg in 1723. It premiered at Lille Grønnegade Theatre in Copenhagen on 25 November 1726. Plot summary Vielgeschrey, a fidget merchant constantly surrounded by hubhub, is prone to believing that he is much more busy than he really is. This eventually makes him suffer a tragicomic fate. Wilhelm Marstrand
Nicolai Wilhelm Marstrand (24 December 1810 – 25 March 1873), painter and illustrator, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Nicolai Jacob Marstrand, instrument maker and inventor, and Petra Othilia Smith. Marstrand is one of the most renowned artists belonging to the Golden Age of Danish Painting. Early development and academy training Marstrand studied at Copenhagen's Metropolitan School (''Metropolitanskolen''), but had little interest in books, and left around 16 years of age. Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg, painter and professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Art (''Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi'') in Copenhagen, was a close friend of Wilhelm's father, and it was to all appearance Eckersberg who recommended an artistic career for young Wilhelm. Bentein Baardson (born 6 November 1953 in New York City) is Norwegian actor, instructor and theatre director. He was born in New York, and is the son of Brynjolv Baardson. Bentein Baardson graduated from Teaterhøyskolen in 1975. He has set up plays at a number of theatres, including Nationaltheatret, Det Norske Teatret, Den Nationale Scene and Agder Teater. Arne Gunerius Aas (1890–1953) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician. He worked as a prosecutor in Tromsø from 1914 to 1916 and then held the same job in Tønsberg from 1916 to 1918. Magne Bleness (30 April 1933 – 1 December 1992) was a Norwegian actor and theatre director. He was born in Fana, and was married twice, first to Berit Gøril Havrevold in 1957, second to Mette Janson in 1961. He had the son Carsten Bleness (b. 1958). Rolf Johannes Berntzen (4 June 1918 – 22 September 2005) was a Norwegian actor, and the grandfather of the Norwegian musician Julian Berntzen. He was born in Bergen, co-founded ''Bergens Dramatiske Klubb'' in 1939, made his debut at Den Nationale Scene in 1941 and was officially hired there in 1943. Ludvig Holberg, Baron of Holberg (3 December 1684 – 28 January 1754) was a writer, essayist, philosopher, historian and playwright born in Bergen, Norway, during the time of the Dano-Norwegian dual monarchy. He was influenced by Humanism, the Enlightenment and the Baroque. Holberg is considered the founder of modern Danish and Norwegian literature.
