This is the results breakdown of the Congress of Deputies 2015 Spanish general election, election held in Spain on 20 December 2015. The following tables show detailed results in each of the country's 17 Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous communities and in the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, as well as a summary of constituency and regional results. Electoral system 348 members of the Congress of Deputies were elected using the D'Hondt method and a closed list proportional representation, with an electoral threshold of three percent of valid votes—which included blank ballots—being applied in each constituency. Convergence and Union (, CiU; ) was a Catalan nationalist electoral alliance in Catalonia, Spain. It was a federation of two constituent parties, the larger Democratic Convergence of Catalonia (CDC) and its smaller counterpart, the Democratic Union of Catalonia (UDC). It was dissolved on 18 June 2015. CiU was a Catalan nationalist coalition.
