Demiivska Square ( uk, Деміївська площа) is one of the squares of Kyiv, Ukraine. Located in the historical area Demiivka Demiivka ( uk, Деміївка) is a neighborhood located in the Holosiiv Raion (district) of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is located towards the southern part of the city, in between the city's neighborhoods Chorna Hora, Shyrma, and Holo ... (southern Kyiv), emerged in the XIXth century and had name Market Square (Базарна), but commonly known as Demiivska after the name of former city suburb. After construction of Central Bus Station has received name Bus Station Square (Автовокзальна). From 1969 the square had name Moscow Square (Московська). Current name is from 2016.

Demiivska (Kyiv Metro)
Demiivska ( uk, Демiïвська, ) is the first station on Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line's Holosiiv-Teremky extension opened on 15 December 2010. It is situated on the "Holosiivski" avenue. It serves the residential areas around, the major marketplace Demiivskyi Rynok, and the cities central intercity bus station. History The station was due to open in late 2008. Later, Metro officials rescheduled the opening to March 2009. Demiivka
Demiivka ( uk, Деміївка) is a neighborhood located in the Holosiiv Raion (district) of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is located towards the southern part of the city, in between the city's neighborhoods Chorna Hora, Shyrma, and Holosiiv National Park. Through the neighborhood flows Lybid River and the unofficial name of the neighborhood ''Nyzhnia Lybid'' (Lower Lybid). At its eastern edge is located a ridgeline of Kyiv Hills consisting of Lysa Hora, Chorna Hora, and Bahrynova Hora, past which is located Dnipro. Until the 19th century the area was outside of the Kyiv city and was known as Lybidska zemlya (land of Lybid) which had couple of small villages (sloboda) Verkhnyolybidske and Nyzhnyolybidske. The current name the place assumed sometime in the second half of the 19th century as Demiivka of Khotiv volost. Kyiv Central Bus Station ( uk, Київський Центральний Автовокзал) is the main and the largest bus station in Kyiv, Ukraine. It specializes in international and intercity (coach) services; suburban routes also present. Holosiivskyi District ( uk, Голосіївський район, translit.: ''Holosiivs’kyi raion'') is an urban district of the city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Holosiivskyi District was created during changing of administrative divisions of the capital of Ukraine, which was conducted in September 2001, as per the decision of the Kyiv City Council on January 1, 2001. Holosiivskyi District is located in the southwestern part of Kyiv, bordering Shevchenkivskyi, Solomianskyi, Pecherskyi, and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv, and Bucha, Obukhiv, and Boryspil raions of Kyiv Oblast.
