Deluxe (Harmonia Album)
''Deluxe'' is the second album from the West German krautrock group Harmonia, consisting of Neu! guitarist Michael Rother and the duo Cluster ( Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius). It was recorded in June 1975 in Harmonia's studio in Forst, Germany. It was first released on the Brain Records label in 1975. ''Deluxe'' was produced by the band members and Conny Plank. The trio were also joined by drummer Mani Neumeier for the release. It was officially reissued in 2004 by Universal. Background For ''Deluxe'', Harmonia worked with producer Conny Plank (who had previously worked with both their main projects Cluster and Neu!). He brought a 16-track recording machine and mixing desk to the band's country studio. Plank brought along drummer and Guru Guru member Mani Neumeier to perform on several tracks. Tim Deluxe
Tim Liken (born 18 July 1977), also known by his stage name as Tim Deluxe, is a British DJ and producer. He is best known for the song "It Just Won't Do", which charted in many countries. Biography Deluxe grew up in North London and worked at Time Is Right Records at the age of 14 and debuted for Ministry of Sound as a DJ in replacement of CJ Mackintosh before he turned eighteen. In 1994, Deluxe met Omar Amidora, a graphic designer and Andy Lysandrou, the label owner of Boogie Beat. In a joint venture, they launched Ice Cream Records, a record label and released a number of EPs as R.I.P. Productions. Samy Sorge (born 19 December 1977), commonly known as Samy Deluxe, Wickeda MC or Sam Semillia, is a German rapper and record producer from Hamburg. Early life Samy was two years old when his Sudanese father left Germany. Samy grew up with his mother's family. His half-sister was born shortly after his father left. The family lived in Barmbek for many years, then moved to Eppendorf, a better-off part of Hamburg. His family was able to make this move after a recommendation from a family friend after his mother remarried. Pepe Deluxé
Pepe Deluxé is a Finnish electronic music oriented band, formed in 1996 by DJ Slow (Vellu Maurola) JA-Jazz (Tomi Castrén, formerly Paajanen) and James Spectrum (Jari Salo) in Helsinki, Finland. They started to experiment with sounds of hip hop, big beat, breakbeat and downtempo. With the 2007 release Spare Time Machine the band gave up on sampling and concentrated on vintage music styles including psychedelia, baroque pop and surf rock. DJ Slow departed the band in 2001 to pursue solo projects. JA-Jazz has been off-duty since 2008. Multi-instrumentalist Paul Malmström became an official member of the band in 2008. Johnny Deluxe
Johnny Deluxe is a Danish music band. Formed in London by the lead singer Noam Halby, bassist Jakob S. Glæsner and guitarist Søren Itenov in 2000, the group was later joined by Morten Lynggaard in 2002. The band took part in ''KarriereKanonen'' run by Danish radio station P3 in 2003, and released the EP ''Elskovspony'' in November of the same year. In January 2004, the group signed a contract with Copenhagen Records and subsequently released their debut album, ''Johnny Deluxe'' on 24 May 2004. De-Luxe (album)
is a studio album by Japanese singer/songwriter Yōko Oginome in collaboration with the Fuji TV children's variety show . Released through JVCKenwood Victor Entertainment, Victor Entertainment on July 21, 1993, it was Oginome's first self-produced album and features the voices of Hidetō Tajima as Ugo Ugo-kun, Yuka Koide as Lhuga-chan, Ikuko Sakurai as Terebi-kun, and Oginome as Planet-chan. The album was reissued on May 26, 2010 with ten bonus tracks as part of Oginome's 25th anniversary celebration. The album peaked at No. 35 on Oricon's albums chart and sold over 19,000 copies. Deluxe is a French band formed in 2007 in Aix-en-Provence. Biography Deluxe was discovered by the band Chinese Man in 2007 in Aix-en-Provence, where they were performing on public streets. Deluxe started as 3 childhood friends who were passionate about music, and eventually became a group of five after adding Soubri and Pepe to the lineup in 2007. In December 2010 the band met a singer/rapper named Liliboy with whom they collaborated, and eventually added to the band's lineup full-time.
