Dejan Bodiroga
Dejan Bodiroga ( sr-Cyrl, Дејан Бодирога; born 2 March 1973) is a Serbian basketball executive and former professional player who is the Chairman of the Euroleague Basketball. During his playing career, he mainly played at the small forward position, but he could also play point forward, and both guard positions. A EuroLeague icon of the early part of the 2000s, Bodiroga was named to the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors, EuroLeague 2000–10 All-Decade Team and was voted by fans the EuroLeague's 2000–2010 Player of the Decade. At club level, Bodiroga proved himself to be a symbol of basketball excellence, by lifting consecutive EuroLeague trophies, with Panathinaikos and FC Barcelona, as he earned the EuroLeague Final Four MVP award both times. He also won the three major European basketball league titles: Spanish, Italian and Greek. FIBA EuroStars was an annual event, organized by FIBA Europe, as a showcase basketball game, from the 1996–97 season, until the 1999–2000 season. Commonly considered as the European equivalent of the NBA All-Star Game, the FIBA EuroStars game featured the season's best players, from both the European-wide top-tier level EuroLeague, and the European-wide 2nd-tier level FIBA Saporta Cup. EuroLeague Regular Season And Top 16 MVP
The EuroLeague Regular Season and Top 16 MVP were awards that were given out by the top-tier level European-wide men's professional club basketball league, the EuroLeague. The EuroLeague initially gave out MVP awards for both the "regular season" and top 16 stages of the competition (the first two group stages of the season). Since these stages of the season each only encompassed a portion of the actual EuroLeague full season, these awards were eventually phased out.
