Deca Loših Muzičara ( sr-cyr, Деца Лоших Музичара; transl. ''Bad Musicians' Children''), often abbreviated to DLM, are a funk rock band formed in Belgrade in 1988. They were one of the most prominent bands of the 1990s Serbian rock scene, gaining siginificant popularity as well as critical acclaim with their fast and furious but melodic funk rock sound, adorned with trumpet and saxophone lines. History 1989–2009 The band was formed in 1988 by Jova Jović (guitar), Aleksandar Siljanovski "Silja" (vocals), Zoran Živković (bass guitar), Zoran Milivojević "Mikac" (drums), Vladan Miljković "Milje" (saxophone), Đorđe Anđelić "Kića" (trumpet) and Ivan Blagojević "Uške" (trumpet). Belgrade Beer Fest
The Belgrade Beer Fest ( sr, Београдски фестивал пива, Beogradski festival piva) is an annual festival of beer in Belgrade, Serbia. Started in 2003, the festival is held annually over five days each August as a showcase event for various beer producers. In addition to domestic and foreign brews, the festival features live music performances each evening. It has quickly grown in size and popularity: in 2004, it attracted over 75,000 foreign visitors to Belgrade and in 2005 it was the second most visited festival in Serbia with 300,000 visitors. In 2009 it attracted more than 650,000 visitors, and in 2010 the festival attracted about 900,000 visitors. The festival entrance is free. No festival was held in 2020. Belgrade Youth Center ( sr, Dom omladine Beograda; abbr. DOB) is a cultural center in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, dedicated primarily to youth. History At the corner of the ''Dečanska'' and ''Makedonska'' streets, where the youth center is today, was the location of the ''kafana'' "Ginić". One of the most popular kafanas in Belgrade in its heyday, it was a gathering point of the journalists and reporters from the Politika daily, which was located nearby. The satirical magazine ' ("shaved hedgehog") was founded in the venue. Next to "Ginić" was another ''kafana'', "Prozor". Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. It stood in contrast to various other types of music in various eras, including big band music in the pre-rock era, and electric music in the rock era. "Let There Be Rock" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the third and title track of their album ''Let There Be Rock'', released in March 1977, and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott. It was also released as a single, with a B-side of " Problem Child", in 1977. Composition The song provides an encapsulated, fictionalised version of the history of rock 'n' roll. Building on a line from the Chuck Berry song "Roll Over Beethoven": "... tell Tchaikovsky the news", "Let There Be Rock" reveals that Tchaikovsky did in fact receive the message and subsequently shared it with the masses, resulting in the rise of rock 'n' roll. AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band calls it simply "rock and roll". Metak (band)
Metak was a Croatian rock band. It was founded in Split, then Yugoslavia, and disbanded in 1981. Their song, "Da Mi Je Biti Morski Pas" (Wish I Were A Shark), was a mega hit, later covered by another Split band, Osmi Putnik, and it also became a movie of the same name. They released two albums, ''U Tetrapaku'' (In Tetrapak) and ''Ratatatatija''. The band was officially formed at the end of 1978 by bassist Mirko Krstičević. Srđan Dragojević
Srđan Dragojević ( sr-cyr, Срђан Драгојевић, , born 1 January 1963) is a Serbian film director and screenwriter, who emerged in the 1990s as a significant figure in Serbian cinema.
