Dear OhMyGirl
''Dear OhMyGirl'' is the eighth extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Oh My Girl. It was released on May 10, 2021, by WM Entertainment and distributed by Sony Music. The album contains six songs including the lead single, "Dun Dun Dance". Background and release Oh My Girl released their seventh EP '' Nonstop'' in April 2020. The EP spawned two singles, "Nonstop" and "Dolphin", both of which became commercially successful in South Korea, earning platinum certifications from the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). On April 16, 2021, the group's label WM Entertainment announced that Oh My Girl would be releasing a new EP the following month. The album's title ''Dear OhMyGirl'' was revealed on April 19. Oh My Girl
Oh My Girl (, also stylized as OH MY GIRL and OMG) is a South Korean girl group formed by WM Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Originally an eight-piece group, JinE left the group in October 2017 due to health issues, and Jiho left in May 2022. Oh My Girl debuted on April 20, 2015, with an eponymous extended play. Seo Ji-eum (; born December 15, 1986), is a South Korean lyricist and singer. She started getting recognition after writing the lyrics for Girls' Generation-TTS's "Twinkle" and f(x)'s "Electric Shock". She won the Lyricist of the Year Award at the 2018 Gaon Chart Music Awards. Roland TR-808
The Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer, commonly known as the 808, is a drum machine manufactured by the Roland Corporation between 1980 and 1983. It was one of the first drum machines to allow users to program rhythms instead of using preset patterns. Unlike its nearest competitor at the time, the more expensive Linn LM-1, the 808 generates sounds using analog synthesis rather than by playing samples (prerecorded sounds). Launched when electronic music had yet to become mainstream, the 808 received mixed reviews for its unrealistic drum sounds and was a commercial failure. Dream pop (also typeset as dreampop) is a subgenre of alternative rock and neo-psychedelia that emphasizes atmosphere and sonic texture as much as pop melody. Trap Music
Trap is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in the Southern United States during the 1990s. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang word "trap", a house used exclusively to sell drugs.
