Deanne Rose
Deanne Cynthia Rose (born March 3, 1999) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for FA Women's Super League club Reading and the Canada national team. In August 2016, Rose helped Canada win their second Olympic bronze medal after scoring the game-opening goal during the third-place match against Brazil. In August 2021, she helped Canada win the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Early life Born in New Tecumseth, Ontario to Jamaican parents, Rose began playing soccer at the age of four. Raised in Alliston, Rose attended Ernest Cumberland Elementary School in Alliston, Ontario, and later Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in Tottenham, Ontario. The association football tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held from 21 July to 7 August 2021 in Japan. In addition to the Olympic host city of Tokyo, matches were also played in Kashima, Saitama, Sapporo, Rifu and Yokohama. The North Carolina Courage is a professional women's soccer team based in Cary, North Carolina. It was founded on January 9, 2017, after Stephen Malik acquired National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchise rights from the Western New York Flash. The Troy Trojans are the sports teams of Troy University. They began playing in the NCAA's Division I-A in 2001, became a football only member of the Sun Belt Conference in 2004, and joined that conference for all other sports in 2005. Tottenham, Ontario
Tottenham is a community in the town of New Tecumseth, in south-central Ontario, Canada. It takes its name from its first postmaster, Alexander Totten. The Tottenham Conservation Area is a recreational facility in the village, which is also famous for its annual event, the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival. There is also a restored steam train that is a tourist attraction, taking passengers to Beeton, Ontario, Beeton and back. Tottenham is home to three schools: Tottenham Public School, Father F.X.
