Dean Saunders (singer)
Dean Saunders (born 9 January 1981 in London) is a Dutch singer. On 22 January 2011, he won in 2011 the Dutch version of ''Popstars'' in its third season in 2010–2011. Career He is the older brother of Ben Saunders who had won on 21 January 2011, just one day prior to Dean's win, the first ever title of the music competition '' The Voice of Holland''. Both Dean and his younger brother Ben started applying to talent competitions early on such as for the series ''Daddy's Wish''. They also took part in 1998 in ''Life is like a box of chocolates'' program. 1998–2003: Follow That Dream In 2000, Dean and Ben Saunders both took part in RTL 4's ''Alles voor de band: Follow that dream''. Ben Saunders (born 9 July 1983) is a Dutch singer who won the first-ever title of the Dutch singing competition series ''The Voice of Holland'' broadcast on RTL 4. The final of 2010–2011 season was held live on 21 January 2011. Saunders is also a tattoo artist. He is popularly known as "Tattoo Ben". Early life Saunders is of English origin. Follow That Dream also known as F.T.D. or FTD was a Dutch pop band made up of Vanessa Eman, Rosa Vuik, Linda Burg Wrath, Peter van der Meer, Ben Saunders, Dean Saunders. Vanessa Eman was the lead singer of the band. The band was formed in 2000 to take part in the Dutch singing competition ''Alles Voor De Band'' on RTL 4. The band had its debut hit single, the self-titled "Follow That Dream" taken from their album ''The Album''. They followed it up with the single "One Night in Shanghai". In May 2001 the group decided to split up, during the hype of the rival and much more popular ''Starmaker'' series.
