Dean Jeffries (born September 29, 1971) is an American politician serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates from the 40th district. He was appointed in September 2018. Early life and education Jeffries was born in Charleston, West Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in healthcare administration management from the College of Charleston. Career Jeffries began his career as an area manager for Sun Healthcare. He also worked as a coach at Elkview Middle School and Capital High School. Timothy Paul Armstead (born February 26, 1965) is a Republican politician and jurist from West Virginia, currently serving as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. He formerly represented 40th District (Kanawha County) in the West Virginia House of Delegates. Armstead is originally from Clendenin, West Virginia. Capital High School is a public high school located in Charleston, West Virginia, United States created from a consolidation of Charleston High School and Stonewall Jackson High School in 1989. History The original high school in the city was Charleston High School, locally known as "The High," serving the entire city. In 1940 the school had become overcrowded and the district was divided at the Elk River, with the west side of town attending the new Stonewall Jackson High School ("The Wall").
