De Abasin Sape ( ps, د اباسین څپې) or the Abasin Waves is a professional football club from Afghanistan. They play in the Afghanistan Champions League. Based in the city of Khost, club represents provinces of Khost, Paktia, Paktika and Logar in the southeastern region of Afghanistan. Etymology De Abasin Sape is named after ''Abāsīn'' ( ps, اباسین), the Pashto name of the Indus River, a major river in eastern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan. Khost City Ground
Khost City Ground is a multi-purpose stadium in Khost, Afghanistan, used for football and other sports. The ground was inaugurated in 2011. The stadium cost more than one million dollars and it was hoped that the facility would help promote peace in the region. The stadium was constructed in three years with financial support from the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee. The stadium has race tracks, volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a cricket ground, on 7.5 acres of land. Kurram District
Kurram District ( ps, کرم ولسوالۍ, ur, ) is a district in Kohat Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan.The name Kurram comes from the river Kuramá ( ps, کورمه) in Pashto which itself derives from the Sanskrit name Krumuḥ (). Kurram River
The Kurrama River ( ps, د کورمې سيند), or Kurram River, originates from watershed of Spin Ghar in the Paktia Province of Afghanistan and the Kurram District of Pakistan, flows through North Waziristan District, North Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, passing through the city of Bannu, and then joins the Indus River near Isa Khel.
