Dawid Schalk Pienaar "Dawie" Ackermann (3 June 1930 – 1 January 1970), was a South African international rugby union and rugby league footballer. His position was at Flanker (or loose forward in rugby league). Rugby union career Ackermann started his career as a rugby union player, appearing for Western Province and Transvaal. He also played in eight test matches for South Africa between 1955 and 1958. Rugby league career In 1962, Ackermann was one of a number of high-profile South African players to switch to rugby league. He was selected by the RLSA to play in a three match series against Great Britain, who were returning from their 1962 tour of Australia and New Zealand. Dawid Stefanus Lubbe Snyman (born 5 July 1949) is a former South African rugby union player and coach. Playing career Snyman represented the Free State schools at two consecutive Craven Week tournaments. After school and completing his military training he enrolled at Stellenbosch University. In 1971, before playing provincial rugby, he was selected for the Springboks to tour Australia. Although he did not play in any test matches during the tour, being selected for the team made him only the third player, after JC van der Westhuizen and Danie Craven to represent the Springboks before playing for a province. He made his provincial debut for Western Province later during the 1971 season. Snyman's test debut was in 1972 at Ellis Park against the touring English side captained by John Pullin. David François Theron (born 15 September 1966) is a South African former rugby union player. Playing career Theron represented the South Africa Universities under–19 and under–20 teams in 1986. He made his senior provincial debut for Free State in 1988 and in 1995 he joined Griqualand West. He made his test debut for the Springboks as a replacement against Australia on 3 August 1996 at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein. His last test match was against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland. Theron played thirteen test matches and two tour matched for the Springboks. Test history Coaching career Theron started his coaching career with Griquas in 2002 as an assistant to Swys de Bruin. Isak Dawid "Dawie" van der Walt (born 11 February 1983) is a South African professional golfer. He won twice on the European Tour in 2013, both times in South Africa, and won twice on the Web.com Tour in 2015. He currently plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Van der Walt was born in Paarl, South Africa. He played college golf at Lamar University in the United States, graduating in 2007.
