Dawie Van Der Walt
Isak Dawid "Dawie" van der Walt (born 11 February 1983) is a South African professional golfer. He won twice on the European Tour in 2013, both times in South Africa, and won twice on the Web.com Tour in 2015. He currently plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Van der Walt was born in Paarl, South Africa. He played college golf at Lamar University in the United States, graduating in 2007. He represented South Africa in the 2004 and 2006 Eisenhower Trophy events. Professional career Van der Walt turned professional in 2007 and played on the Sunshine Tour and U.S. mini-tours since 2008. He won four mini-tour events between 2008 and 2011. His best finish on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit was 18th in 2012. Paarl
Paarl (; Afrikaans: ; derived from ''Parel'', meaning "pearl" in Dutch) is a town with 112,045 inhabitants in the Western Cape province of South Africa. 2011 Sunshine Tour
The 2011 Sunshine Tour is the 12th season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was relaunched in 2000, and the 5th since the tour switched a calendar based season in 2007. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour is based predominantly in South Africa with other events being held in neighbouring countries, including Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Zambia and Namibia. As usual, the tour consists of two distinct parts, commonly referred to as the "Summer Swing" and the "Winter Swing". Jorge Campillo (golfer)
Jorge Campillo (born 1 June 1986) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won on the tour, the 2019 Trophée Hassan II and the 2020 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Amateur career After attending the Spanish national training centre as a junior, Campillo elected to play college golf at Indiana University in the United States. Campillo would go on to become one of the most successful players in the university's history, winning nine intercollegiate titles and being named to the Golfweek First Team All-American squad. He finished second in the 2008 NCAA championship. He also played in the Palmer Cup for Europe in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Matthew Baldwin
Matthew David Baldwin (born 26 February 1986) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Baldwin was captain of the England Boys side before turning professional in 2008. In 2009 he played on the third-tier Alps Tour and finished 23rd on the Order of Merit, with six top-ten finishes. He made several appearances on the second-tier Challenge Tour in 2010, and performed well enough to finish 82nd on the final standings and gain full status for 2011. In October 2011, he won for the first time on the Challenge Tour at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España. This sealed his promotion to the main European Tour for 2012. The 2014 European Tour was the sixth edition of the Race to Dubai and the 43rd season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. Darren Fichardt
Darren Clive Fichardt (born 13 May 1975) is a South African professional golfer who plays on both the European and Sunshine Tours. Early life Fichardt was born in Pretoria and grew up in Centurion, Gauteng. He attended Sutherland High School from 1988 to 1993, where his talent for golf was nurtured. Professional career Fichardt turned professional in 1994 and he won the Southern Africa Tour (now the Sunshine Tour) Order of Merit in 1999/2000 and 2003/04. He partnered Retief Goosen in South Africa's WGC-World Cup team in 2000. Fichardt has played on the European Tour since 2001 and has won four European Tour events. Korn Ferry Tour Finals
The Korn Ferry Tour Finals is a series of three golf tournaments that serve as a means of earning PGA Tour membership for the following season ("Tour cards"). The series, which until 2019 consisted of four tournaments, replaced the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament in 2013. The Finals take place after the Korn Ferry Tour regular season. In total, fifty players earn cards: the top 25 players on the regular-season standings (known as "The 25") and the top 25 players on the Finals standings (known as the "Finals 25").
