Dawan Robinson
Dawan Robinson (born February 10, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of Rhode Island. Career After going undrafted at the 2006 NBA draft and playing in the preseason with the Los Angeles Clippers, Robinson spent his first professional season in France with CSP Limoges. For the 2007–08 season he signed with the Polish club Śląsk Wrocław. In the summer of 2008, he signed with Prima Veroli of the Italian LegADue. On June 22, 2009, he re-signed with Veroli for one more season. On February 16, 2010, he left Veroli and signed with Reyer Venezia Mestre. However seven days later, he parted ways with Venezia due to injury. In November 2010, he joined the Erie BayHawks of the NBA D-League. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) ( English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. It constitutes the second-tier of the Italian league pyramid, below the first division LBA and above the third division Serie B, with promotion/relegation occurring between these leagues. It is run by the Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro (LNP), itself regulated by the FIP, the Italian federation. Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, commonly referred to as Limoges CSP or CSP, is a French professional basketball club based in the city of Limoges. History The club was founded in 1929, but its peak was during the 1980s and 1990s, when they became the first French club to win a major European-wide title in a team sport, by winning the FIBA European League (EuroLeague) in 1993. In the 1999–2000 season, Limoges won its 9th top-tier level French League title, but it was relegated to the French second division LNB Pro B, after winning it, because of financial problems.
