Davie Rae
David 'Davie' Rae is a former Scottish chair of Queen of the South in Dumfries. Rae was the third of three chairmen to rebuild and revitalise the Dumfries club from the mid-1990s, replacing the previous regime under Harkness, when the club had gone into stagnation and decline from the late 1960s. Queens pre Rae A retired farmer, Davie Rae became chairman of Queen of the South when Ronnie Bradford stepped down due to ill health in June 2003. Bradford's predecessor, Norman Blount had taken over Queen of the South in April 1994. Under the previous regime Queens had been in stagnation and decline since the late 1960s. Blount immediately set about modernising and rebuilding the club. Stephen Dobbie
Stephen Dobbie (born 5 December 1982) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He is Senior Professional Development Phase coach at his former club Blackpool. Dobbie is Queen of the South's second-highest goalscorer of all time (166 goals) and the club's record scorer for a single season (43 goals in the 2018-19 season). He started his career in the 2002–03 season at Rangers, followed by spells at Hibernian and St Johnstone. His career was revived by a loan spell at Dumbarton in 2006, and he then scored 55 goals in 105 appearances for Queen of the South in his first spell at Palmerston Park, playing in the club's first-ever appearance in the Scottish Cup Final in 2008. Neil MacFarlane (footballer)
Neil MacFarlane (born 10 October 1977) is a Scottish football coach and former professional player, who is head coach of Brentford B. MacFarlane played as a defensive midfielder at a number of clubs at all four levels of the Scottish league system. After his retirement as a player in 2011, he became a coach and was appointed to his first managerial role at English non-League club Kidderminster Harriers in 2018. James MacDonald (born 17 April 1986) is Scottish a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper who plays for Scottish Championship club Greenock Morton. Dumfries
Dumfries ( ; sco, Dumfries; from gd, Dùn Phris ) is a market town and former royal burgh within the Dumfries and Galloway council area of Scotland. It is located near the mouth of the River Nith into the Solway Firth about by road from the Anglo-Scottish border and just away from Cumbria by air.
