David Alec Webb (6 March 1931 – 30 June 2012) was a British actor and anti-censorship campaigner. Early life Webb was born in Luton, the second child and only son of Alec Webb, and attended Luton Grammar School from 1942 to 1950. He completed his National Service from 1950 to 1952, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 1952 to 1954. Career In 1954 he joined the York Repertory Company, in 1955 the Bromley Repertory Company, and from 1955 to 1956 he toured in the play ''Love From Judy''. He worked in television from the late 1950s onwards appearing in scores of programmes including '' Emergency Ward 10'', '' Dixon of Dock Green'', and ''Doctor Who'', among many others. David Michael Webb (born 29 August 1965) is an activist investor, share market analyst and retired investment banker based in Hong Kong. Early life Webb graduated in Mathematics from Exeter College, Oxford in 1986. From 1981 to 1986 he was also an author of books and games for early home computers, particularly the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. He authored the Pac Man type game Spookyman and went on to create the acclaimed 3D Vector graphics game Starion on the Spectrum. After graduation he became an investment banker in London. David John Webb, (born 1 September 1953) is a British physician, scientist and clinical pharmacologist, who currently holds the Christison Chair of Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Edinburgh. He was appointed to the Christison Chair of Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Edinburgh in 1995, and from 1998 to 2001 he was Head of the University's Department of Medical Sciences there. David Webb (born 21 April 1943) is a retired British rowing coxswain who competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1980 Summer Olympics. Rowing career Webb was selected for the Great Britain crew which competed in the men's coxed pair at the 1976 Olympic Games. The crew which consisted of James MacLeod and Neil Christie finished in seventh place. David James Webb (born 9 April 1946) is an English former professional footballer who made 555 appearances in the Football League playing for Leyton Orient, Southampton, Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City, Derby County, AFC Bournemouth and Torquay United. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbra Streisand. Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. Born in Asheville, North Carolina on July 2, 1925. Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. He has produced over a dozen films about caving and mine exploration (mostly in the Derbyshire region) and has contributed articles to ''Descent'' magazine.
