David Weatherston
David Weatherston (born 25 August 1986) is a retired Scottish professional footballer who played for Queen's Park, St Johnstone, Queen of the South, Falkirk, Stirling Albion, Alloa Athletic, Brechin City and Verdal IL. Career Queen's Park Born in Paisley and raised in Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, Weatherston began his career with Queen's Park in 2004 where he played in 78 league games, scoring 22 goals in three seasons. During his time at the club, he was voted into the Third Division Team of the Year in 2006–07. St Johnstone He joined St Johnstone in the summer of 2007 for one season, where he played in 27 league games without scoring a goal. Queen of the South Weatherston signed for Dumfries side Queen of the South on 27 August 2008. The Scottish Football League Third Division was the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system between 1994 and 2013. History The Scottish football league system had operated with three divisions in the Scottish Football League (SFL) from 1975. In 1994, as part of reconstruction to allow the admission of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County to the league, the SFL was recalibrated to give four divisions of 10 teams. The fourth tier was named the Third Division. In 1998, the Premier Division (top flight) clubs broke away to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL). Career Dunfermline Athletic Born in Bellshill, White began his professional career with Dunfermline Athletic, signing a full-time contract with the Fife side in June 2008, making his senior début aged only 16 in a friendly match against Hearts on 16 July 2008. Sean Higgins is a Scottish footballer who plays as a striker for Rossvale, as well as the club's assistant manager. Career Ross County Higgins started his career with Hamilton Academical where he played at youth level. Higgins then moved to Ross County in 2002 where he spent seven years at Victoria Park, where he played in 173 league matches and scored 47 league goals. Dods played as a central defender for Hibernian, St Johnstone, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dundee United, Falkirk, Forfar Athletic and Brechin City.
