David Shacklady
David Shacklady (born 19 April 1967) is an England, English professional golfer who plays on the European Senior Tour, where he has won three times. Professional career Shacklady turned professional in the late 1980s but never played on any of the major tours, competing mostly in regional Professional Golfers' Association (Great Britain and Ireland), PGA events in the north of England. He occasionally played in important events, qualifying for the Open Championship in 1998 and 2007 and playing in the British PGA Championship in 1997, 2004 and 2008, although he missed the cut on each occasion. Shacklady played in the qualifying school for the 2017 European Senior Tour in late January and early February 2017. He was one of three players tying for fifth place and with only five places available a playoff was required. Shacklady missed out when Jean-Pierre Sallat made a birdie on the first playoff hole. John Phillip Price (born 21 October 1966) is a Welsh professional golfer who plays on the European Senior Tour. He won three European Tour events between 1994 and 2003 and played in the 2002 Ryder Cup. Early life Price was born in 1966 in Pontypridd. He currently resides in Newport. Professional golfer Price turned professional in 1989 and qualified for membership of the European Tour for the 1991 season via the 1990 Qualifying School. His best year on the tour came in 2000, when he finished eighth on the Order of Merit. His other top ten placing came in 2003, when he was tenth. He has three tournament wins on the European Tour. The PGA Cup is a men's golf competition for club professionals played between a Great Britain and Ireland team and a United States team. The winning team is presented with the Llandudno Trophy. The competition is run by the British PGA and the PGA of America. It was first played in 1973 and was an annual event until 1984, after which it became biennial. The 2022 event was held at the Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey, England, the second time that the course had been chosen to host the event. Jean-François Remésy
Jean-François Remésy (born 5 June 1964), also known as Jeff Remésy, is a French professional golfer. Career Remésy was born in Nîmes, Occitania. He won the French Amateur Championship in 1985 and turned professional in 1987. For much of his career he has struggled to establish himself as a tour golfer, and he has made over a dozen trips to the European Tour Qualifying School. His first professional win came in a small tournament in France in 1991 and he won on the Challenge Tour in 1994, but he didn't break into the top 100 on the European Tour Order of Merit until 1999. That year he won the Estoril Open on the main tour, and he has continued to progress since then. In 2004 he became the first Frenchman to win the Open de France in 35 years, and in 2005 he retained his title by beating fellow Frenchman Jean van de Velde in a playoff. Markus Brier (born 5 July 1968) is an Austrian professional golfer. He won twice on the European Tour and in 2008 was his country's second highest ranked player, behind Bernd Wiesberger. Career Brier won the Swiss and German Amateur Opens in the mid-1990s, and turned professional in 1995 at a relatively late age. Nine top ten finishes, including five top threes, on the 1999 Challenge Tour earned him third place on the season ending money list and playing privileges on the European Tour for 2000. He retained his tour card through his final position on the order of merit every year, except for 2002 and 2010 when he regained it through final qualifying school.
