David Roselle
David Paul Roselle (born May 30, 1939) is an American mathematician and academic administrator who served as the ninth president of the University of Kentucky and the 25th president of the University of Delaware. Early life and family David Roselle was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. He married Louise Helen Dowling, a native of Manhasset, New York, in 1967. The couple has two children, Arthur (born 1970) and Cynthia (born 1972). Education and academic concentration In 1961, Roselle received a bachelor's degree from West Chester State College (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania). The American Mathematical Society (AMS) is an association of professional mathematicians dedicated to the interests of mathematical research and scholarship, and serves the national and international community through its publications, meetings, advocacy and other programs.
