David Power (Gaelic Football Manager)
David Power (born 1983) is an Irish Gaelic football manager. He has been manager of the Tipperary county team since 2019. Power previously managed Wexford. In 2020, he led Tipperary to a first Munster Senior Football Championship title for 85 years. Career Born in Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, Power played for the Kilsheelan–Kilcash club. Power went on to become involved in team management and coaching. An All-Ireland-winning manager with Tipperary in the minor grade, he has also taken charge of the Tipperary under-21 and junior teams. Power was the manager of the senior Wexford county team from 2014 until 2016. In September 2019, Power was named as the new manager of the Tipperary senior football team on a two-year term. Kilsheelan
Kilsheelan () is a village and civil parish within the in the barony of Iffa and Offa East in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is also one half of the Roman Catholic parish of Kilsheelan & Kilcash in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. It is situated on the north bank of the River Suir, east of Clonmel and west of Carrick-on-Suir, on the N24 and R706 roads. As of 2016, it had a population of 812 people. Kilsheelan is notable in having won the Tidy Towns competition twice, in both 1975 and 1979. It is represented by the Kilsheelan-Kilcash GAA club. 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship
The 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship was the 2020 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship organised by the Munster GAA. The fixtures were announced on RTÉ Radio on 8 October 2019. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games, all GAA activity was suspended until late in the year. On 22 November 2020, Tipperary won the title after a 0-17 to 0-14 win against Cork in the final. It was Tipperary's first Munster title in 85 years. To mark the centenary of Bloody Sunday, Tipperary wore special commemorative jerseys in white and green in the final, a replica of the colours worn by the Tipperary team which played Dublin in Croke Park in 1920. Dessie Farrell
Dessie Farrell is an Irish Gaelic football coach and former player. He has been manager of the Dublin county team since 2019. A former All Star Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for Dublin county team for nearly 15 years, he retired from county football in 2005 and spent another four years playing with his club Na Fianna. Having won an All-Ireland with Dublin in 1995, Dessie went on to captain his county, winning six Leinster championships, a National League title and three county championships with his club. Liam Kearns
Liam Kearns (1962 – 12 March 2023) was an Irish Gaelic football manager and player. He managed Offaly from 2022 until his death in 2023. Kearns previously managed the Limerick, Laois and Tipperary county teams, as well as several clubs in different counties. He led Tipperary to a 2016 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final, the county's first since 1935. After leaving Tipperary and before being appointed Offaly manager, Kearns managed Clann na nGael GAA (Roscommon).
