David Maister
David H. Maister (born July 21, 1947) is a former Harvard Business School professor, American writer and expert on business management practices and the management of professional service firms. He is best known for writing ''Managing the Professional Service Firm'' and co-writing ''The Trusted Advisor'' with Charles H. Green and Robert M. Galford. Born and raised in London, England, Maister became a citizen of the United States in 2006. Biography Maister holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics and statistics from the University of Birmingham (1968), a Master's degree in operations research from the London School of Economics (1971) and obtained his doctorate in business from the Harvard Business School (1976).
