David Huang
David Huang Shih-cho (; born 14 August 1966) is a Taiwanese politician and scholar of public administration studies, who is currently running for the Mayor of Taoyuan election. He was the founding member of Taiwan Solidarity Union along with his father served as the chairman, but was lately left to join the Democratic Progressive Party for his political career in present. Early life and career David Huang was born to parents Huang Chu-wen and Huang Shu-ying. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Chinese Culture University before receiving a master's and doctoral degree from National Chengchi University and the University of Southern California, receptively. He subsequently taught at Tamkang University and the Kainan School of Management, then worked for the Examination Yuan. Huang also ran a consultancy firm. The Examination Yuan is the civil service commission branch, in charge of validating the qualification of civil servants, of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). It has a president, a vice president, and seven to nine members, all of whom are nominated by the president of the republic and confirmed by the Legislative Yuan for four-year terms according to Republic of China laws. Tuan Yi-kang (; born 14 November 1963) is a Taiwanese politician. A former leader of the Democratic Progressive Party's now-abolished New Tide faction, he has served on the party's Central Standing Committee, the Taipei City Council and the Legislative Yuan. Education Tuan was born in Taipei, graduated from Ta-Chih Junior High School and Chung Kung Senior High School, before attending National Taiwan University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science. Political career Tuan started his political career by working for legislators Lu Hsiu-yi, Hung Chi-chang and Yeh Chu-lan. Huang Chung-yuan
Huang Chung-yuan (; born 14 December 1950) is a Taiwanese politician. He was a member of the Taiwan Solidarity Union for most of his two-term stint in the Legislative Yuan and served the party as its acting chairman from December 2004 to January 2005. In 2007, Huang was expelled from the TSU and joined the Democratic Progressive Party. Early career Huang attended Chung Hua University and served as president of the Industrial Park Manufacturers Federation. Political career Huang represented the newly founded Taiwan Solidarity Union in the 2001 legislative elections, during which he was ranked first on the party's closed list. Upon taking office, he and the TSU mediated discussions between the Kuomintang and Democratic Progressive Party.
