David Htan ( my, ဒေးဗစ်ထန်; born 13 May 1990) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Myanmar national football team and Shan United F.C. The 2020 Myanmar National League is the 11th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. Recently, AIA agreed a sponsorship deal with Myanmar National League in order to support both MNL and Myanmar Football. A total of 12 football teams will compete in the league. Shan United are the defending champions, while Chin United and I.S.P.E have been promoted from the 2019 MNL-2. 2018 General Aung San Shield
The 2018 General Aung San Shield ( my, Bogyoke Aung San Shield) was the fourth season of Myanmar knockout football competition. The tournament is organized by the Myanmar Football Federation. It is the league cup competition started in 2018 Myanmar football season. This cup succeeded the Myanmar Football Federation Cup. MFF has changed the cup competition style as follows. In the first round, ten clubs competing in 2018 MNL-2 and two clubs which were promoted to 2018 MNL, twelve teams in total, will be involved playing at a neutral ground with six teams emerged as winners. General Aung San Shield
General Aung San Shield (formerly ''MFF Cup'') is the top football knockout tournament in Myanmar. On 26 March 2014, MFF League Committee Meeting decides the knock-out cup (General Aung San Shield) winner would compete in ''Toyota Mekong Championship'' as well as earning the ticket for the AFC Cup. The MFF Charity Cup is Myanmar football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Myanmar National League season and the holders of the General Aung San Shield at Aung San Stadium.
