David Hale (American Football)
David Hale (born March 3, 1983) is a former American football offensive lineman. Hale was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He attended Fremont High School and played college football at Weber State University. He played two full seasons for the Ravens, playing center and guard, and also on special teams. After a back injury in the preseason of 2010, the Ravens released Hale with an injury settlement. Personal life He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a religious mission in the Dominican Republic from 2002 to 2004 and speaks fluent Spanish. David Edward Hale (born September 27, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves, Colorado Rockies, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and Philadelphia Phillies, and in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) for the Hanwha Eagles. Growing up in Marietta, Georgia, Hale played high school baseball for The Walker School. He was primarily an infielder, but began to pitch during his senior year. David Maclain Hale (born 1961) is an American diplomat and career ambassador, who previously served as the United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. He is currently a Distinguished Diplomatic Fellow at the Wilson Center, on detail from the Department of State. Early life David Hale was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1961 and lives in New Jersey. He graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 1983. Career Hale joined the Foreign Service in 1985. He served at the United States missions to Tunisia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United Nations. David Hale (born 22 May 1984) is an Australian rules football coach and former player who is currently serving as an assistant coach with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. As a player, he played with the North Melbourne Football Club and Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. David Richard Evan Hale (born October 26, 1945) is a retired United States Army brigadier general. He was a major general when he retired, but was convicted in a court-martial of eight offenses and demoted one rank. He is the second Army general to be court-martialed since the Uniform Code of Military Justice went into effect in 1951 (after Major General Robert W. Grow in 1952) and the first Army general prosecuted after retirement. Hale graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1967 and served as a company commander in the 82nd Airborne Division in the Vietnam War. In Vietnam, he was awarded the Silver Star for picking up an enemy grenade in a foxhole and throwing it away during a firefight. David M. Hale (born June 18, 1981) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He played for the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators over an eight-year National Hockey League (NHL) career. David Hale is a former Arkansas municipal judge and former Arkansas banker. He alleged the charges that resulted in the Whitewater scandal trials. Biography He worked with Jim McDougal on $3 million in loans from a lending company he ran. He pleaded guilty and went to jail for conspiring to defraud the Small Business Administration in looting the funds from a dummy business that he had established. He was sentenced to two years and four months in prison for fraud unrelated to the Whitewater deal. As part of his guilty plea for looting money from an insurance company, he provided the allegations for the Whitewater scandal and testimony for its investigators.
