David Domoney
David Martin Domoney, C Hort. FCI Hort (born 26 March 1963) is an English Chartered Horticulturist and celebrity gardener. He co-presents the TV gardening programme ''Love Your Garden'', alongside Alan Titchmarsh, and is the resident gardener on ITV1's '' This Morning''. .html" ;"title="/sup>">/sup> Domoney maintains a gardening advice website and writes regular columns for the Sunday Mirror and Grow Your Own magazine. In 2011, Domoney created the Young Gardeners of the Year competition in association with the Prince of Wales' The Prince's Foundation to showcase new British talent in garden design and construction. Devizes
Devizes is a market town and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. It developed around Devizes Castle, an 11th-century Norman architecture, Norman castle, and received a charter in 1141. The castle was besieged during the Anarchy, a 12th-century civil war between Stephen of England and Empress Matilda, and again during the English Civil War when the Cavaliers lifted the siege at the Battle of Roundway Down. Devizes remained under Royalist control until 1645, when Oliver Cromwell attacked and forced the Royalists to surrender. The castle was Slighting, destroyed in 1648 on the orders of Parliament, and today little remains of it. From the 16th century Devizes became known for its textiles, and by the early 18th century it held the largest corn market in the West Country, constructing the Corn Exchange in 1857. ''The Alan Titchmarsh Show'' is a British daytime chat show presented by Alan Titchmarsh. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2007 until 14 November 2014 and aired on weekday afternoons. The show's main focus is the "Best of British" theme with many of the shows' segments focusing on fashion, health, nature, cookery and animals. On 18 March 2014, Titchmarsh announced that he was leaving the show. The last episode aired on 14 November 2014. Format The programme made its debut on ITV in 2007. BBC Gardeners' World Live is a large multi-day gardening related consumer show held each June at the National Exhibition Centre, England, co-located with the BBC Good Food Show Summer. Open to the general public, the BBC television programme endorsed event typically hosts celebrity focus groups and advice workshops, showcases new product announcements, show gardens, floral marquee, along with providing retail space to exhibiting parties. RHS Flower Show Tatton Park held at Tatton Park, near Knutsford, Cheshire, first began in 1999 by the Royal Horticultural Society. The Hampton Court Garden Festival (formerly The Hampton Court Flower Show) is an annual British flower show, held in early July. The show is run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) at Hampton Court Palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The show features show gardens, floral marquees and pavilions, talks and demonstrations. Laura Ashley (née Mountney; 7 September 1925 – 17 September 1985) was a Welsh fashion designer and businesswoman. She originally made furnishing materials in the 1950s, expanding the business into clothing design and manufacture in the 1960s. The Laura Ashley style is characterised by Romantic designs – often with a 19th-century rural feel – and the use of natural fabrics.
