Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to manoeuvre the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. Mark Merklein (born June 28, 1972) is a Bahamas-born former college and professional tennis player. He played for the Bahamas Davis Cup team from 1999–2004. Merklein was born in Freeport, Bahamas. He grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, and attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in nearby Fort Lauderdale. Patrick McEnroe
Patrick William McEnroe (born July 1, 1966) is an American former professional tennis player, broadcaster, and former captain of the United States Davis Cup team. Born in Manhasset, New York, he is John McEnroe's youngest brother. He won one singles title and 16 doubles titles, including the 1989 French Open. His career-high rankings were world No. 28 in singles and world No. 3 in doubles. Juniors McEnroe started playing tennis as a young boy and was taught at the Port Washington Tennis Academy, where his brother John also played. Richey Reneberg (born October 5, 1965) is an American former professional tennis player. He attended Southern Methodist University, where he was a three-time All-American and reached the 1986 National Collegiate Athletics Association finals. He was the ATP Newcomer of the Year when he turned professional in 1987. He and his partner Jim Grabb were ranked world No. 1 in doubles and won the 1992 US Open doubles title.
