David Barnett (writer)
David Barnett (born 11 January 1970) is an English journalist and author. He has several published books, including Hinterland (Immanion Press, 2005, re-issued 2008), Angelglass (Immanion Press, 2007) and The Janus House and Other Two-Faced Tales (Immanion Press, 2009). Born in Wigan, Lancashire, England, he has worked at the Telegraph & Argus. Suede (band)
Suede (also known in the US as The London Suede) are an English rock band formed in London in 1989 by singer Brett Anderson, guitarist Justine Frischmann, and bass player Mat Osman. Drawing inspiration from glam rock and post-punk, Suede were dubbed "The Best New Band in Britain" by ''Melody Maker'' in 1992, and attracted much attention from the British music press. The following year their debut album '' Suede'' went to the top of the UK Albums Chart, becoming the fastest-selling debut album in almost ten years. It won the Mercury Music Prize and helped foster ' Britpop' as a musical movement, though the band distanced themselves from the term. The recording sessions for their second album, ''Dog Man Star'', were fraught with difficulty and ended with guitarist and composer Bernard Butler departing after confrontations with the other members. Jenny Everywhere
Jenny Everywhere, also known as "The Shifter", is an open-source, freely licensed character, created by Canadian comic book artist Steven Wintle. The character was co-developed by members of the Barbelith online community. Jenny Everywhere was created when her creators could not find any other truly open-source or public domain characters. She is described both as existing in every reality and being able to shift between realities. This gives the character the ability to be inserted into the continuity of any existing or new work, such as various comics and webcomics. The concept may be extended to other media as well.
