David B. Hawk
David B. Hawk (born June 21, 1968) is a Tennessee politician. He was elected to the 103rd through the 113th General Assembly as the member of the Tennessee House of Representatives representing the 5th district, which is composed of Unicoi County and part of Greene County. He is a member of the Commerce Committee, the Conservation and Environment Committee, the Parks and Tourism Subcommittee, and the Small Business Subcommittee. David Hawk attended Tusculum College and graduated from East Tennessee State University with honors and a degree in Marketing, and worked as a haberdasher. in 2020, Hawk made an unsuccessful bid for congress to represent the U.S. House to represent Tennessee's 1st Congressional District. Tusculum University Alumni
Tusculum is a ruined Roman city in the Alban Hills, in the Latium region of Italy. Tusculum was most famous in Roman times for the many great and luxurious patrician country villas sited close to the city, yet a comfortable distance from Rome (notably the villas of Cicero and Lucullus). Philip Norman Bredesen Jr. (born November 21, 1943) is an American politician and businessman who served as the 48th governor of Tennessee from 2003 to 2011. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected in 2002 with 50.6% of the vote and reelected in 2006 with 68.6%. He is the most recent Democrat elected to a statewide office in the state.
