Dave Whitlock
Dave Whitlock (born July 2, 1966) is a Canadian former race car driver in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. He drove and owned the #39 Dickies Dodge Charger for his own team Whitlock Motorsports. He used to drive in the Castrol Super Series (Past Champion) and Cascar where he had 12 wins in the series. After the Cascar buyout by NASCAR he began to race in the Canadian Tire Series. He had one Canadian Tire Series win in his final season of racing, it came in Saint-Eustache the first race of the year. Whitlock sold his race team, Whitlock Motorsports, and retired at the end of the 2009 season. NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
The NASCAR Pinty's Series (french: Série NASCAR Pinty's), commonly abbreviated as NPS, is a national NASCAR racing series in Canada, and is a continuation of the old CASCAR Super Series which was founded in 1981. History In September 2006 NASCAR purchased the CASCAR Super Series, the top Canadian stock-car racing series at the time. At the same time, they established a sponsorship agreement with Canadian Tire as the title sponsor. They also signed a television contract with TSN to carry all events with select races being aired live. Three of the series races, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal, had crowds in excess of 50,000 fans. Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. is an apparel manufacturing company primarily known for its largest brand, Dickies. The company was founded in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1922 by C. N. Williamson and E. E. The Dodge Charger is a model of automobile marketed by Dodge in various forms over seven generations since 1966. The first Charger was a show car in 1964. A 1965 Charger II concept car resembled the 1966 production version. The Charger has been built on three different platforms in various sizes. The Canadian Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (CASCAR) was an auto racing sanctioning body for amateur and professional stock car racing in Canada. The company was founded in 1981 and was headquartered in Delaware, Ontario. In 2006, NASCAR purchased CASCAR and created the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. Autodrome Saint-Eustache
The Autodrome Saint-Eustache was a motor sport complex in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1965, it contained a paved oval and a paved road course with hot pits, grandstands and services. The oval circuit hosted NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly racing, with drivers racing for both the province (Quebec) and the rest of North America. Its premier event was the NASCAR Pinty's Series which raced at the track since the creation of the series. The track also formerly held CASCAR Super Series events. In an agreement with the City of Saint-Eustache, the property was sold to Hydro-Québec at the end of the 2019 racing season. The expanding infrastructure of the city of Saint-Eustache was cited as the main reason for the track's demise. Plympton–Wyoming is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in Lambton County immediately east of Sarnia. It is the seat of the Lambton County Council. The town's first mayor was Patricia Davidson, who was elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 2006 federal election as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Sarnia—Lambton.
