Dave Webster
David A. Webster Jr. (July 23, 1937 – June 23, 2006) in Atlanta, Texas, was a professional American football cornerback who played two seasons for that American Football League's Dallas Texans, 1960–1961. He was an All-AFL selection in 1961. Early years Webster was the son of David A. Webster Sr. and Eunice (Harper) Webster. He lived in Atlanta, Texas, until he was 13 years old, when he moved to Houston with his mother. He was educated in the Atlanta Public Schools, Holy Cross Lutheran schools and Jack Yates High School. He attended Yates High School in Houston and graduated as the valedictorian of his class. Hank Stram
Henry Louis Stram (; January 3, 1923 – July 4, 2005) was an American football coach. He is best known for his 15-year tenure with the Dallas Texans / Kansas City Chiefs of the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). Stram won three AFL championships, more than any other coach in the league's history. He then won Super Bowl IV with the Chiefs. He also coached the most victories (87), had the most post-season games (7) and the best post-season record in the AFL (5–2). Stram is largely responsible for the introduction of Gatorade to the NFL due to his close association with Ray Graves, coach at the University of Florida during Gatorade's development and infancy. The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football franchise that began play in 1960 as the Dallas Texans. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. Billy Nicks
William James Nicks (August 2, 1905 – November 2, 1999) was an American college football player and coach. He coached at Historically Black colleges and universities, historically black colleges in the Southern United States from 1930 to 1965. Nicks served as the head football coach at Morris Brown College in Georgia (1930–1935, 1937–1939, 1941–1942) and at Prairie View A&M University in Texas (1945–1947, 1952–1965). He was the NAIA Football Coach of the Year Award, NAIA Football Coach of the Year in 1963 and his teams were declared the Black college football national championship, black college football national champions six times.
