Dave Marsh (musician)
Dave Marsh is a Canadian musician, best known for being drummer of Halifax power pop group The Super Friendz in the 1990s, of Joel Plaskett Emergency in the 2000s, and as a solo artist. Solo career Marsh's debut album, ''The True Love Rules'', was released on July 29, 2008. Sloan (band)
Sloan is a Canadian rock music, rock band based in Toronto and originally from Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sloan have released thirteen full-length albums and have received nine Juno Award nominations, winning one. Joel Plaskett
William Joel MacDonald Plaskett (born April 18, 1975) is a Canadian rock musician and songwriter based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was a member of Halifax alternative rock band Thrush Hermit in the 1990s. Plaskett performs in a number of genres, from blues and folk to hard rock, country, and pop. Plaskett's songwriting frequently contains allusions to his home city, Halifax.
