Dave Brat
David Alan Brat (born July 27, 1964) is an American academic and politician who is the dean of the Liberty University School of Business. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the U.S. representative for Virginia's 7th congressional district from 2014 to 2019. Brat came to national prominence when he defeated the House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor, in the district's 2014 Republican primary. Brat's primary victory over Cantor made him the first primary challenger to oust a sitting House Majority Leader since the position's creation in 1899. Walter Stosch
Walter Allen Stosch (born August 18, 1936, in Fredericksburg, Virginia) is an American politician in the Republican Party. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1983 until 1992, when he was elected to the Senate of Virginia. He was Majority leader 1998–2007, after which he was named Republican Leader Emeritus. He served as the President Pro Tempore of the Senate for his final term, except for a six-month period when Democrats controlled the chamber. The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority is an independent authority and political subdivision which serves the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area.
