"Das Bus" is the fourteenth episode of the ninth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons''. It originally aired on Fox in the United States on February 15, 1998. In an extended parody of ''Lord of the Flies'', Bart, Lisa, and other students from Springfield Elementary School are stranded on an island and are forced to work together. Pete Michels is an American animation director who is the supervising director of ''Future-Worm!'' on Disney XD. Prior, he was a supervising director on seasons 1 and 2 of ''Rick and Morty'', an animation and supervising director on ''Family Guy'', and supervising director of the short-lived TV show ''Kid Notorious''. Lynching is an extrajudicial killing by a group. The presumption of innocence is a legal principle that every person accused of any crime is considered innocent until proven guilty. Under the presumption of innocence, the legal burden of proof is thus on the prosecution, which must present compelling evidence to the trier of fact (a judge or a jury).
