Darren Harris (born 17 August 1965) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and Australian Football League (AFL) between 1986 and 1991. Originally from South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club South Adelaide, his brother Brenton Harris also played two games for North Melbourne in 1988. Harris is the father of Olympic swimmer Meg Harris. The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. The men's team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), and the women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW). The Kangaroos also field a reserves men's team in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Brenton Harris (born 9 October 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Harris was selected with pick 20 in the 1986 VFL Draft, one of five players that North Melbourne secured in the draft and the only one to play a league game. Meg Harris, (born 7 March 2002) is an Australian swimmer. She is a world record holder in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay. She competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay and a bronze medal in the 4×200 metre freestyle relay. She also won an individual gold medal at the 2017 Bahamas Commonwealth Youth Games in the 50 freestyle. She is also the co-founder of the clothing brand Dally&Co Label. The Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&MFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition containing ten clubs based in north-eastern Victoria, the southern Riverina region of New South Wales and the Ovens and Murray area. The name comes from the Ovens River, the river in the part of north-eastern Victoria covered by the league, and the Murray River, which separates Victoria and New South Wales. The league features three grades in the Australian rules football competition, with these being First-Grade, Reserve-Grade and Under 18s. In the netball competition, there are four grades, with these being A-Grade, B-Grade, C-Grade and Under 16s. Currently a home and away season consisting of eighteen rounds is played.
