Darko Krsteski ( mk, Дарко Крстески; born 9 August 1971) is a retired Republic of Macedonia, Macedonian Association football, football Defender (association football), defender. Club career He started his career in his hometown FK Pobeda, Pobeda Prilep where he played four seasons before moving to Serbia to the ex-European champions FK Crvena Zvezda. After two seasons in Belgrade, he played in two more First League of FR Yugoslavia clubs, FK Sutjeska from Nikšić in Montenegro, where he played almost six seasons, and FK Borac Čačak from Central Serbia. Before returning to his hometown club, he had a short spelt with the Jordanian club Al-Faisaly (Amman) and he played one season in Malta in Floriana F.C. Prilep
Prilep ( mk, Прилеп ) is the fourth-largest city in North Macedonia. It has a population of 66,246 and is known as "the city under Marko's Towers" because of its proximity to the towers of Prince Marko. Name The name of Prilep appeared first as ''Πρίλαπος''. The old fortress was attached to the rocky hilltop, and its name means “stuck” ''on the rocks'' in Old Church Slavonic. FR Yugoslavia Cup
The Serbia and Montenegro Cup was an association football knockout cup tournament of Serbia and Montenegro played between 1992 and 2006, after which Serbia and Montenegro became separate nations. The competition was the continuation of the old Marshal Tito Cup of the SFR Yugoslavia, and it was named FR Yugoslavia Cup between 1992 and 2003, when the official name of the country was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was renamed to Serbia and Montenegro Cup in 2003 when the country changed its official name. The cup was organized by the Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro.
