Omar David Hernández Colón, known as Darkiel, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist and actor, born in Lares. He is better known for his role in the Netflix biographical series of Nicky Jam called '' Nicky Jam: El Ganador''. Career Darkiel started his career at the age of nineteen with social media, doing freestyles on Facebook page Freestyle Mania Music. His inspirations are Daddy Yankee and Don Omar. Darkiel has issued over two dozen video singles. They include "Ella Me Oculta," "Aqui Estas Tu" (and a remix), "Si Me Apagan el Sol", "Montate y Zumba", and a lyric video of the J Alvarez remix of "De una Forma Diferente" that gained over 300,000 views within four days of posting it in August 2016. Lares, Puerto Rico
Lares (, ) is a mountain town and municipality of Puerto Rico's central-western area. Lares is located north of Maricao and Yauco; south of Camuy, east of San Sebastián and Las Marias; and west of Hatillo, Utuado and Adjuntas. Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago (born November 26, 1992), known professionally as Anuel AA, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His music often contains samples and interpolations of songs that were popular during his youth. He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela and Ivy Queen and with fellow American rapper 6ix9ine. Bryan Robert Rohena Pérez (born April 5, 1998), known professionally as Bryant Myers, is a Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton rapper and songwriter. Rohena was born in Loma Alta, Puerto Rico. Latin trap is a subgenre of trap music that originated in Puerto Rico. A direct descendant of southern hip hop, and influenced by reggaeton, it gained popularity after 2007, and has since spread throughout Latin America. ''The trap'' is slang for a place where drugs are sold. Latin trap is similar to mainstream trap with lyrics about life on ''la calle'' (the street), drugs, sex and violence, without censorship.
