Dark Star (cave)
Dark Star is the name of a cave system located in the Boysuntov Range in Uzbekistan, some from the capital Tashkent, near the village of Boysun Boysun ( uz, Boysun, russian: Байсун, Baysun) is a city in Surxondaryo Region, Uzbekistan and capital of Boysun District. The population was 16,732 as of the 1989 census, and 27,600 in 2016. Thousands of years in the narrow mountain gorge, .... It has seven entrances. The first cave entrances were discovered by Russians in 1984, but it was not until 1990 when British cavers began to explore it. It is named after the 1974 film of the same name. As of March 2017, it has been explored by eight different expeditions, with over of passageways discovered, with an estimated depth of over . Boysun
Boysun ( uz, Boysun, russian: Байсун, Baysun) is a city in Surxondaryo Region, Uzbekistan and capital of Boysun District. The population was 16,732 as of the 1989 census, and 27,600 in 2016. Thousands of years in the narrow mountain gorge, the merchant caravans have passed through Iron Gates. This region has been passed by the Armies of Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, and Tamerlane. The Teshik-Tash caves contain remnants of the Neanderthal people. The nearby Kugitang Mountains nearby still contain wall paintings known as "magic bull hunting", dating from the Mesolite period. Boysun's citizens adorn their homes with colorful suzane (sticky covers), lightweight, sturdy, and cozy tapestries, and elegant decorations and springwear embellish their clothes and shoes. ''Dark Star'' is a 1974 American science fiction comedy film directed and produced by John Carpenter and co-written with Dan O'Bannon. It follows the crew of the deteriorating starship ''Dark Star'', twenty years into their mission to destroy unstable planets that might threaten future colonization of other planets.
