Darius Adams
Darius Anthony Adams (born April 17, 1989) is an American-born naturalized Bulgarian professional basketball player for the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). Standing at , he plays at the point guard position. Professional career Adams went undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft. In February 2012, he joined Guaiqueríes de Margarita of Venezuela for the 2012 LPB season. Following the LPB season, he joined Los Prados of the Dominican Republic for the 2012 District National season. On June 9, 2012, he recorded a triple-double with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. In August 2012, he signed with Reales de La Vega, for the rest of the 2012 LNB season. On January 12, 2013, Adams signed with SC Kryvbas of the Ukraine, for the rest of the 2012–13 season. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Fujian Sturgeons
Fujian SBS Xunxing Sturgeons (Simplified Chinese: 福建SBS浔兴鲟) or Fujian Xunxing or Fujian SBS are a Chinese professional men's basketball team in the Chinese Basketball Association, based in Jinjiang, Quanzhou, Fujian. The "SBS" reflects corporate sponsorship from the Jinjiang-based Fujian SBS Zipper Science and Technology Corporation. Unlike all the other teams in the CBA, the team originally had no English–friendly animal–type nickname. They have since begun using the name Sturgeons. The Fujian Sturgeons made their debut in the 2004–2005 season, and finished in seventh and last place in the South Division, out of the playoffs. 2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup
The 2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 25th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 8 October to 16 October, 2016. The venue of the tournament was Chenzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. This was the return of the tournament after a two-year hiatus since the 2013 edition. Xinjiang Flying Tigers from China, which used the name 'China Kashgar' during this tournament, won its first ever FIBA Asia Champions Cup title in its tournament debut.
