The 2015–16 ACB season was the 33rd season of the Spanish basketball league, also called Liga ACB, Liga Endesa in its sponsored identity. The regular season started on October 10, 2015, and ended on May 22, 2016. The playoffs was played from May 26 to June 26, 2016. 2014–15 ACB Season
The 2014–15 ACB season was the 32nd season of the Spanish basketball league, also called Liga Endesa in its sponsored identity. The regular season started on 4 October 2014 and finished on 24 May 2015. The playoffs, joined by the eight first qualified teams, was played between 28 May and 24 June 2015. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) A total of 18 teams contested the league, including 16 sides from the 2013–14 season and two promoted from the 2013–14 LEB Oro. Real Betis Baloncesto S.A.D., simply known as Real Betis, is a professional basketball team based in Seville, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. It plays its home games at San Pablo. History Club Deportivo de Baloncesto Sevilla was founded in 1987 when the team bought the seat of Dribling de Madrid in the second division, in that time called Primera División B. Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., also known as MoraBanc Andorra for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team that is based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. Though based in Andorra, the club plays in the Spanish basketball league system. The team plays in the LEB Oro with home games played at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra. Club Baloncesto Tizona S.A.D., more commonly known as UBU Tizona by sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team based in Burgos, Castilla y León and plays in the Polideportivo El Plantío. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. 2014–15 LEB Oro Season
The 2014–15 LEB Oro season is the 19th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, the Spanish basketball second division. It is named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The season will start on October 3 and will end on May 15, 17 or 19 with the last game of the promotion playoffs finals. Competition format Regular season The regular season was played by round-robin system. After the first leg of the season, the two top qualified teams played the Copa Príncipe de Asturias and the leader will be the host team. At the final of the season: *The regular season winner promoted directly to Liga ACB. *Teams qualified between 2nd and 9th, joined the promotion play-offs to ACB.
