Dario De Toffoli
Dario De Toffoli is an Italian board game designer, gamebook author, and games player who founded the games company Studiogiochi and established many games events. Born in 1953 Venice, after an early career as a chemist he entered the world of games. Winner of over 60 medals at the Mind Sports Organisation, Mind Sports Olympiad. He won the 2002 and 2012 Pentamind Competition for the best games all-rounder in the world. In 2006, he won a special award for his contribution to games which includes contribution to all aspects of games. Contribution to games The Personalità Ludica dell'Anno (PLDA) award the prize to the games personality of the year. In 2006, instead of the normal competition the PLDA made a lifetime achievement award to Dario De Toffoli for his "career" in games. In the 90's Dario, with the help of his company, staged the first 5 Italian festival of games, Italian Festivals of games, the largest in Italy. Board games are tabletop games that typically use . David Parlett
David Parlett (born 18 May 1939 in London) is a games scholar, historian, and translator from South London, who has studied both card games and board games. He is the president of the British Skat Association. His published works include many popular books on games such as ''Penguin Book of Card Games'', as well as the more academic volumes ''The Oxford Guide to Card Games'' and ''The Oxford History of Board Games'', both now out of print. Parlett has also invented many card games and board games. The most successful of these is ''Hare and Tortoise'' (1974). Its German edition was awarded Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) in 1979. Sansoni is an Italian publisher founded in 1873 by Giulio Cesare Sansoni, located in Florence. History Until the 1930s, Sansoni devoted almost all its attention to literature, with its works mostly aimed at schools and universities. ''Totally Spies!'' is an animated spy-fi series created by Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and David Michel mainly produced by French animation company Marathon Media and French broadcaster TF1, with seasons 3 to 5 being co-produced with Canadian company Image Entertainment Corporation. It focuses on three teenage girls from Beverly Hills, California, who work as undercover agents for the World Organization of Human Protection (WOOHP). Kakuro or Kakkuro or Kakoro ( ja, カックロ) is a kind of logic puzzle that is often referred to as a mathematical transliteration of the crossword. Kakuro puzzles are regular features in many math-and-logic puzzle publications across the world. In 1966, Canadian Jacob E. Funk, an employee of Dell Magazines, came up with the original English name ''Cross Sums'' and other names such as ''Cross Addition'' have also been used, but the Japanese name ''Kakuro,'' abbreviation of Japanese ''kasan kurosu'' (加算クロス, "addition cross"), seems to have gained general acceptance and the puzzles appear to be titled this way now in most publications. Vampiri ( sr-cyr, Вампири, trans. '' The Vampires'') are a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band from Belgrade.
