Daria's Sick, Sad Life Planner
Daria's Sick, Sad Life Planner is a 1999 app developed by Hypnotix and published by Simon & Schuster Interactive. It is based on the MTV animated series '' Daria''. Like the television show, this software is oriented towards teenagers. It acts as a digital journal, address book, calendar, and planner with Daria-based themes, graphics, and quotes, as well as video and audio clips. The audio clips feature the same voice actors as on the TV show. A reviewer from ''The New York Times'' gave the program a mixed review, stating that while the tools and accessories were useful, the Daria extras such as the screensavers and icons were disappointing. The reviewer also commented that the misanthropic Misanthropy is the general hatred, dislike, distrust or contempt of the human species, human behavior or human nature. Misanthropic
Misanthropy is the general hatred, dislike, distrust or contempt of the human species, human behavior or human nature. A misanthrope or misanthropist is someone who holds such views or feelings. The word's origin is from the Greek words μῖσος ''mīsos'' 'hatred' and ἄνθρωπος ''ānthropos'' 'man, human'. Misanthropy involves a negative evaluative attitude towards humanity that is based on a negative judgment concerning mankind's flaws. These flaws are seen as ''ubiquitous'', i.e. possessed by almost everyone to a serious degree and not just by a few extreme cases. They are also held to be ''entrenched'', meaning that there is either no or no easy way to rectify them short of a complete transformation of the dominant way of life. The major flaws pointed out by misanthropes include ''intellectual flaws'', ''moral flaws'' and ''aesthetic flaws''. ''Intellectual flaws'', like wishful thinking, dogmatism, stupidity and cognitive biases, are what leads to false belief ...

Analog and digital variants exist and can be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, magnetic tape, optical discs, computer files, and network streaming. Daria Morgendorffer
Daria Morgendorffer is a fictional character from the MTV animated series ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' and its spin-off ''Daria''. She was voiced in both productions by Tracy Grandstaff. In 2002, Daria placed at number 41 on the list of the ''Top 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time'' by ''TV Guide'' for her role in the two shows. She was also listed in AOL's 100 Most Memorable Female TV Characters. Conception and development Mike Judge created the Daria character on advice of the network. MTV senior vice president and creative director Abby Terkuhle explained that when ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' "became successful, we... created Daria's character because we wanted a smart female who could serve as the foil." Terkuhle said that he added Daria "to put Beavis and Butt-Head in their place". Judge says that Daria was named for a girl he knew in school who, like the character, was saddled with the nickname "Diarrhea". Glenn Eichler, who created the ''Daria'' spin-off – sometimes i ...

Screensaver
A screensaver (or screen saver) is a computer program that blanks the display screen or fills it with moving images or patterns when the computer has been idle for a designated time. The original purpose of screensavers was to prevent phosphor burn-in on CRT or plasma computer monitors (hence the name). Though most modern monitors are not susceptible to this issue (with the notable exception of OLED technology, which has individual pixels vulnerable to burnout), screensaver programs are still used for other purposes. Screensavers are often set up to offer a basic layer of security by requiring a password to re-access the device. Some screensaver programs also use otherwise-idle computer resources to do useful work, such as processing for volunteer computing projects. As well as computers, modern television operating systems, media players, and other digital entertainment systems may include optional screensavers. Purpose Screen protection Before the advent of LCD screens, ...

Windows 95
Windows 95 is a consumer-oriented operating system developed by Microsoft as part of its Windows 9x family of operating systems. The first operating system in the 9x family, it is the successor to Windows 3.1x, and was released to manufacturing on July 14, 1995, and generally to retail on August 24, 1995, almost three months after the release of Windows NT 3.51. Windows 95 merged Microsoft's formerly separate MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows products, and featured significant improvements over its predecessor, most notably in the graphical user interface (GUI) and in its simplified "plug-and-play" features. There were also major changes made to the core components of the operating system, such as moving from a mainly cooperatively multitasked 16-bit architecture to a 32-bit preemptive multitasking architecture, at least when running only 32-bit protected mode applications. Accompanied by an extensive marketing campaign, Windows 95 introduced numerous functions and features that w ...

''Daria'' is an American adult animation, adult animated sitcom created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis, Susie Lewis Lynn. The series ran from March 3, 1997, to January 21, 2002, on MTV. It focuses on the title character, Daria Morgendorffer, an intelligent, cynical high school student, voiced by Tracy Grandstaff. It is a Spin-off (media), spin-off of Mike Judge's earlier animated series, ''Beavis and Butt-Head'', in which Daria appeared as a recurring character. Although Judge allowed the character to star in a spin-off, he had no involvement in the production of ''Daria'' himself, as he was busy working on ''King of the Hill''. In June 2019, MTV announced a ''Daria'' animated spin-off series, ''Jodie'' (originally ''Daria & Jodie''), with actress Tracee Ellis Ross voicing the titular character and serving as an executive producer. The network characterized the series as the first in multiple projected ''Daria'' animated spinoffs. In June 2020, Comedy Central announced it had ...
