Hypnotix
Hypnotix, Inc. was an American video game developer that was founded in 1993 and located in Little Falls, New Jersey. The company's highest-profile games were its "Outlaw" series of sports titles, which included Outlaw Golf, Outlaw Volleyball, and Outlaw Tennis. Hypnotix is also responsible for a wide variety of PC and console products including the Deer Avenger series, which has sold over a million copies. In July 2005, the company was acquired by Electronic Arts and folded into EA Tiburon, which develops the ''Madden NFL'' and ''Tiger Woods PGA Tour'' series.EA acquires Hypnotix

Deer Avenger
''Deer Avenger'' is a series of video games about a deer who hunts humans. It was developed by Simon & Schuster Interactive and Hypnotix. It is a parody of the '' Deer Hunter'' series of games. ''Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire?'' is a video game parody of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?''. It was created by Hypnotix, and released in 2000 by Simon & Schuster Interactive for Microsoft Windows and Sega Dreamcast. While the Microsoft Windows versions feature mainly 2D-animation and menus, the Dreamcast version mainly uses 3D models for the player, as well as 3D environments and the millionaires the player beats up in 3D, rather than 2D animation in the PC version. Gameplay The objective of the game is to answer multiple-choice questions correctly, by using a buzzer to answer. Following this, the player assaults another player's character. ''Soldier Boyz'' is a 1997 video game by Hypnotix and DreamCatcher Interactive for Microsoft Windows 95. Gameplay The game was an adaptation of the film '' Soldier Boyz'' and was a rail shooter that utilized full-motion video to retell the story of the movie. There are some notable changes from the original story, but the end goal is much the same. The game has three difficulty settings: Chump, Punk, and Bad Ass. Reception The ''Soldier Boyz'' game received a score of 0 out of 5 from ''Computer Games Strategy Plus'', who called it, "one of the worst games to ship in the last few years, one that has no redeeming qualities," and said: "no current shooter is nearly as bad as this game." Daria's Inferno
''Daria's Inferno'' is a 2000 PC video game developed by Hypnotix and published by Simon & Schuster Interactive. The game is based on the MTV animated show ''Daria''. Players control the character Daria Morgendorffer through the fictional town of Lawndale. Characters in the game are voiced by the same voice actors as on the TV show. The game is the only media ever to feature the TV series' entire theme song, "You're Standing on My Neck" by Splendora, only one verse of which is ever heard on the show. ''Outlaw Tennis'' is a video game based on the sport of tennis published for the Xbox and PlayStation 2, and the last game in the ''Outlaw'' series to be released in 2005. ''Outlaw Volleyball'' is a video game based on the sport of volleyball. It was originally published for the Xbox and included a sampler CD of tunes by cover band Diffuser. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2 with two new courts and a handful of additional player costumes, accessories, etc. under the title ''Outlaw Volleyball Remixed''.
