Danny Elliott (footballer)
Daniel John E. S. Elliott (born 29 September 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Scunthorpe United. A former youth team player at Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa, Elliott played college soccer in the United States with Hofstra Pride and later represented North Carolina FC U23 and the Long Island Rough Riders. He joined Spanish club San Cristóbal in October 2018 and then signed with English Football League side Port Vale in January 2019. Released by Port Vale in May 2019, he signed with Chester two months later. He was loaned out to Alfreton Town in January 2020. He signed with Hartlepool United in April 2021 and helped the club to win promotion out of the National League via the play-offs two months later. Reading United AC is an American soccer team based in Reading, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1995, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. In professional football, a transfer is the action taken whenever a player under contract moves between clubs. It refers to the transferring of a player's registration from one association football club to another. In general, the players can only be transferred during a transfer window and according to the rules set by a governing body (fulfilling the requirements of FIFA, continental and national bodies regulating the purchasing and selling clubs). A negotiated transfer fee is agreed financial compensation paid from an interested club, to the club that possesses the player's exclusive contracted playing rights. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. 2021 National League Play-off Final
The 2021 National League play-off final, known as the Vanarama National League Promotion Final for sponsorship reasons, was an association football match played on 20 June 2021 at the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol between Torquay United and Hartlepool United. It determined the second and final team to gain promotion from the National League, English football's fifth tier, to EFL League Two.
