Danielle Marie McCormack (born 18 September 1983) is an English actress and singer/songwriter and musician. McCormack is best known for playing Mel Barker on the TV show ''My Parents Are Aliens'' on CITV CITV (short for Children's ITV, also known as the CITV Channel) is a British free-to-air children's television channel owned by ITV plc. It broadcasts content from the CITV archive and acquisitions, every day from 6 am to 9 pm which ... between 1999 and 2004, leaving after series 6 for a career in the music industry.
