Kevin Wunderlin
Kevin Wunderlin (born 17 December 1991) is a Swiss curler. He currently skips the Biel/Bienne curling team on the World Curling Tour. Wunderlin's first international curling experience came at the 2013 European Mixed Curling Championship, when Wunderlin played second for the Swiss team, skipped by Marc Pfister. The team would top their group in the group stage of the event, with a 6-1 record. However, they lost in the quarterfinals to Hungary. On the World Curling Tour, Wunderlin has won two career events. He won the Thompson Curling Challenge twice; first in 2013 playing lead for Mike Wenger and again in 2016 as a skip. 2021 Swiss Mixed Doubles Curling Championship
The 2021 Swiss Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from January 27 to 30, 2021 at the Curlinghalle AG Biel in Biel, Switzerland. The winning pair of Briar Hürlimann and Yannick Schwaller then played against the 2020 Swiss champions Jenny Perret and Martin Rios for the right represent Switzerland at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. The event was held in a round robin format between the eight competing teams. The top three teams then advanced to the playoffs where the second place team played the third place team in the semifinal. The winner of the semifinal then played the first place team in a best of three to determine the winner. Sebastian Stock (born 15 November 1977 in Immenstadt, Bavaria) is a German curler living in Bönigen, Switzerland. He is currently the national coach of the Swiss Curling Association. Stock's junior career included a silver medal at the 1995 World Junior Curling Championships and a bronze medal the following year. In 1995 he played third for Daniel Herberg and they lost to Tom Brewster, Jr.'s Scotland team in the final. Stock skipped the 1996 team. In 2002 Stock and his German team captured their first European Curling Championships after three previous tries. They defeated Peja Lindholm of Sweden in the final. Oliver Widmer (born 24 March 1965) is a Swiss operatic bass-baritone whose international career has encompassed lieder, opera, and oratorio. In 1998 he created the role of Jäger in Heinz Holliger's opera ''Schneewittchen''. Widmer was born in Zürich and studied first under his father, the baritone Kurt Widmer, at the City of Basel Music Academy. He made his debut as a recitalist in 1985 followed by further study under Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau at the Hochschule für Musik Berlin from 1986 to 1989. Carole Howald (born 29 March 1993 in Langenthal) is a Swiss curler from Langenthal. She currently plays second on Team Silvana Tirinzoni. Career Howald joined the Binia Feltscher rink at lead in 2017. She previously played with Melanie Barbezat and with this rink won the 2014 Dumfries Curling Challenge. They played in three Grand Slams in her first season with the team, qualifying in one of them, the 2017 Boost National. She got to play in her first official World Championship at the 2018 World Women's Curling Championship after being the alternate at her previous three appearances. The team struggled that week, failing to reach the playoffs after posting a 5–7 record. At the conclusion of the 2017–18 season, Irene Schori left the team and Howald was promoted to third.
