Daniel Weston
Daniel Weston (born 11 March 1983) is a German cricketer. Born in Perth, Western Australia, he initially played cricket for that State alongside better-known players such as Shaun Marsh. In 2004, he founded Westware Computers Pty Ltd, which built and supplied computer hardware and services to the education and corporate sector. He sold that business at the age of 23 before moving to Europe. In 2013, he founded the Aimed Global Alpha global macro hedge fund, domiciled in Luxembourg. In 2016, he founded German Cricket TV, an online video channel for supporting and growing cricket in Germany. He was named in Germany's squad for the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in South Africa. He played in Germany's opening fixture, against Ghana, on 3 September 2017. In August, 2018, Weston founded the European Cricket League, as the basis for the Champions League of Cricket in Europe. European Cricket League
The European Cricket League (ECL), is a Ten10 cricket league contested by the cricket clubs of European countries. It was formed with a goal to develop and popularize cricket in the European continent. The league was founded in 2018. The league is played in the T-10 format among clubs all around Europe that are champions in domestic tournaments in their respective countries. The inaugural tournament in 2019 took place in La Manga Club, Spain with 8 clubs participating. VOC Rotterdam were crowned the champions who defeated SG Findorff by 101 runs in the final. Michael John Richardson (born 4 October 1986) is a South African-born German cricketer. Richardson is a right-handed batsman who fields as a wicket-keeper. He was born in Port Elizabeth. Richardson made his debut for Durham in a first-class match against Durham MCCU in 2010. Richardson's family has a strong cricketing background.
